Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern the use of the translation and certification services provided by Adalet Tercüme (“we,” “us”) to you (“the Client”). By placing an order, you agree to the terms set out below. Please read them carefully; if anything is unclear, contact us before ordering.

1. Scope of Services

We provide sworn (certified) translation and, where requested, notarization, apostille and consular legalization of documents. The specific service, language pair, certification level and delivery time applicable to your order are those shown in the quote you approve. Services are delivered digitally, with wet-ink certified originals couriered where an authority requires the physical copy.

2. Quotes, Orders and Payment

When you upload a document, our system generates a binding quote based on its measured length, the selected language pair, certification level and turnaround. An order is formed when you approve the quote and complete payment. Prices are stated per page of 1,000 characters (excluding spaces) and are identical throughout Türkiye. Unless otherwise agreed in a corporate arrangement, payment is due before work begins.

3. Client Responsibilities

You are responsible for providing legible, complete and accurate source documents and for informing us of any specific requirements of the receiving institution — the target language variant, the required certification level, the spelling of names as they appear on official identity documents, and any deadline. We translate the document as supplied; we are not responsible for errors originating in the source text or for requirements you did not disclose.

4. Delivery

The delivery time shown at the point of order is a commitment calculated within business hours from confirmed payment. Digital delivery is made to your client panel and, where applicable, certified originals are dispatched by courier. Delivery timelines assume the source document is legible and complete on receipt; if it is not, timelines run from the point corrected materials are supplied. Detailed delivery arrangements are set out in our Delivery Terms.

5. Accuracy, Revisions and Liability

Every translation passes through our quality workflow of translation, independent review and verification. If you identify a genuine translation error, notify us within a reasonable period of delivery and we will correct it free of charge. Our liability in respect of any order is limited to the value of that order; we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for the decisions of third-party institutions regarding acceptance of a document.

6. Confidentiality

We treat all documents as confidential, handling them over encrypted connections with controlled access in line with KVKK and GDPR. Details of how we process personal data are set out in our Privacy Policy. An NDA is available on request.

7. Cancellation and Refunds

Cancellation and refund rights depend on the stage of the work at the time of your request and are set out in full in our Refund and Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, and any dispute is subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of Türkiye. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full effect.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version in force at the moment you place an order governs that order. We recommend reviewing this page before each order.
