What ISO 17100 Requires

ISO 17100 is the recognized benchmark for professional translation. It defines the competences a translator must hold, mandates an independent revision step by a second qualified linguist, and requires documented processes for handling projects, terminology and client requirements. Our Three-Stage Workflow

• 1. Translation. A translator qualified in the document’s field and sworn before a Turkish notary produces the translation, applying the correct terminology and the formatting the receiving institution expects.
• 2. Independent revision. A second qualified linguist compares the translation against the source in full, checking accuracy, completeness, terminology and register — the revision step at the heart of ISO 17100.
• 3. Verification & certification. A final check confirms names, numbers, dates and layout before the sworn certification, and any required notarization or apostille, is applied.
